Have exams coming up?

We all know studying for exams can be a tough time.

Sometimes the pressure we feel can help keep us focused, other times it can cause stress.

Check out these tips – they can help us cope with stress during exam time.

  1. Get into a routine
Try eating and sleeping at around the same time each day.
  2. Get a good night’s sleep
This gives our brain time to recharge and remember what we’ve learnt.
  3. Eat a well-balanced diet
Avoid junk food (we know that’s not easy, but the sudden burst of energy of a chocolate bar or energy drink goes away quickly and leaves us feeling worn-out).
  4. Allow time to rest
Why not try some meditation, listen to music or practice some mindfulness activities.
  5. Keep focused
It can be hard, but we don’t want other stuff like friendship worries to distract us.
  6. Reward yourself
Once you achieve your study goals. For example: ‘I’ll study for another hour, then I’ll call a friend or shoot some hoops’.
